2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® vs Street Glide®
Falcons Fury Harley-Davidson® now has the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® and 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® available to test ride and purchase. These are the newest editions of two of the most popular touring motorcycles in the world. These bikes are affordably priced, deliver an impressive value proposition and are suitable for new and experienced riders alike. Which is better for you comes down to your fairing preference. Should you pick the batwing or shark nose?

Ride Characteristics
The core difference between these two models is that the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® has a fork-mounted fairing while the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® has a frame-mounted fairing. Most riders will make the choice between these two motorcycles based on that aspect because almost all of the other characteristics are the same: upright rider positioning, a passenger seat, floorboards for both rider and passenger, stretched saddlebags, an infotainment touch screen and a sound system.

Performance
Performance when comparing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® vs 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® is similar because they’re both powered by the air-cooled Milwaukee-Eight® 107 engine. The exhaust is the same as well, but the Street Glide® is a bit heavier and a tad longer.

Infotainment
Both the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® and 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® come standard with the Boom!™ Box infotainment system. A 4.3-inch color touch screen is standard. A 6.4-inch screen is optional. Features include hands-free calling and media streaming.

Technologies
ABS and Reflex linked Brembo brakes are offered as standalone options. You can also opt for the suite of advanced safety enhancements through Falcons Fury Harley-Davidson®. This suite includes ABS and the electronic linked brakes but also TPMS, vehicle hold control and various cornering-enhanced systems: ABS, linked braking, traction control and drag-torque slip control. Note that this option must be selected at purchase at it has to be installed by the factory and is not available as an aftermarket upgrade.

Customization
Both the Street Glide® and Road Glide® have a traditional chrome finish and are offered in the same colors. Vivid Black is the standard color, which is included in the MSRP, and Redline Red and Atlas Silver Metallic are premium colors that require a small additional fee. If you want additional color options, you should consider the Street Glide® Special and Road Glide® Special, which offer a dark finish, dual-tone options and additional monotone options.

Special Editions
Since these are two of the most popular motorcycles in the lineup, Harley-Davidson® offers many variants. These include the aforementioned Street Glide® Special and Road Glide® Special, which have the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine and many additional premium features. You also have the option of the Street Glide® ST and Road Glide® ST, which have the Milwaukee-Eight® 117. If you want a fully dressed touring experience, that is available with the Road Glide® Limited. These two models are also available in CVO editions, which give you a custom look and feel direct from the factory.
