A suite of advanced rider-assistance technologies is optional and includes vehicle hold control, a tire pressure monitoring system, a cornering-enhanced anti-lock brake system, cornering-enhanced electronic linked braking, a cornering-enhanced traction control system and a cornering drag-torque slip control system.
Road Glide® Special vs Street Glide® Special: Customization
If you want the advanced rider assists, you must select them at the time of purchase as they are not available as upgrades after the fact. The available design options are the same for both the Road Glide® Special and Street Glide® Special. You have the choice of either a traditional chrome finish or a more modern black finish. Vivid Black with either finish is the standard option included in the MSRP.
The premium options available with the chrome finish are Baja Orange, Bright Billiard Blue with Billiard Gray and Gray Haze. The premium options available with the black finish are Atlas Silver Metallic, Bright Billiard Blue with Billiard Gray, Heirloom Red Fade, Industrial Yellow with Vivid Black and Prospect Gold. The dual-tone aesthetics are new options for these models introduced this model year, and Heirloom Red Fade is offered as part of the 120th Anniversary celebration and won’t be available next year.
